When I wasn't able to get pregnant quickly, I came to Jenny with the hope of addressing some contributing health issues, including an irregular menstrual cycle and some problems with my thyroid. I have been receiving treatment from Jenny at East West Fertility for a few months now and have been extremely pleased with the results the acupuncture has produced.
I began seeing Jenny only 2 weeks prior to my embryo transfer and achieved an amazing outcome. I also had a treatment the day before and immediately after transfer then subsequent visits to assist in implantation.

Thank-you so much for fitting me in to have acupuncture before and after IVF. I had never had or experienced acupuncture before, but had heard that it increased the chance of an IVF pregnancy. I came to see Jenny when we were about to go through our 10th cycle of IVF (yes 10th - crazy or determined we were!). A few people had mentioned to try acupuncture and since this was going to be our last attempt with IVF we wanted to try everything. I found Jenny and the team wonderful to deal with and always felt very relaxed after my appointments. I decided to do everything Jenny suggested including a slight change in my diet, balancing my ph level, using the Chinese herb and tiny acupuncture ear points. I had nothing to lose and everything to gain which was so true in the end.
8 eggs were collected and they were all fertilised and we were absolutely astounded that all eggs fertilised - this had never happened to us before. They grew them all to blastocyst day 5, 4 reaching blastocyst and the remainder still at day 4 stage on day 5 which were discarded. 1 egg was transferred back in and the other 3 were frozen. Things went along quite well in that terrible 2 week wait - the usual thoughts of 'I think it's worked, no it hasn't, ooh maybe it has' rollercoaster emotions. I was still keeping up with my weekly visits which helped me relax and obtain some perspective. Towards the end I was queasy in the morning, hungry and tired during the day (my thoughts were leaning toward maybe just maybe baby!). I went for my blood test and they did a quick pregnancy test and I was pregnant - wow I couldn't believe it!!!! My bloods were great and progesterone was high.
Now I am 13.5 weeks pregnant and most of the time feeling great and waiting in anticipation for our little miracle to finally arrive after 6.25 years of trying!! Thanks so much Eastwest fertility I don't believe our little one would be on it's way without you.

After a very long fertility journey and a recent operation to remove my fallopian tubes I turned up at Jenny's practice with so much hope! I tried everything in order to fall pregnant, but nothing worked! We were both in our early 40's, and time was running out. My husband and I tried induced ovulation, artificial insemination, IVF with ICSI and other well advertised herbal fertility treatments. I told my fertility specialist about the herbal fertility treatment, but he wasn't happy as it wasn't varied to suit the menstrual cycle. My wife and I decided to visit East West Fertility after having no success in trying to conceive for some time. We had considered western medicine approaches including IVF, but felt that we wanted to try a less intrusive alternative first. We were also aware that acupuncture might compliment IVF treatment, if we decided to try that later on.
I was open minded towards the process, and wanted to take active role in the path my wife and I were following. As a male of reasonably fine health, and having already received good results from my previous fertility tests, I was unsure of the relevance of my attendance. However, after meeting Jenny at the first session, I was absolutely confident that it was appropriate that I also visit regularly.
During the first session, along with the acupuncture and herbs, Jenny recommended some minor lifestyle and dietary changes. These were surprisingly easy to adopt, and I quickly found that the changes had a positive effect on my general well being. I was also surprised by how much I enjoyed the acupuncture sessions - enabling me to deeply relax and helping me reduce my stress levels.
Above all, after only 3 months of visiting East West Fertility my wife fell pregnant. We were absolutely delighted that it had happened so soon after starting the treatment. We decided to continue with the treatment for a further 3 months, until the first trimester had passed.
My wife is now 14 weeks pregnant. However I decided to follow her advice, and was then delighted to fall pregnant immediately after this break. Our baby girl was conceived through a combination of IVF and treatment with Jenny. After having received only a few weeks of treatment with Jenny we were successful in becoming pregnant. While we were ecstatic in becoming pregnant we were not surprised by the result, given Jenny's involvement in our conception treatment.

I had irregular menstrual cycle for long period and was finding hard to get pregnant, I found about Jenny on Internet and consulted her. It was my first experience with acupuncture, and it worked beautifully. I took weekly sessions of acupuncture for a month and Chinese herbs, and fell pregnant! I continued acupuncture for four months of pregnancy which helped me to get my pregnancy settled safely and everything went smoothly.........currently I am 7th month pregnant, and going to get some sessions for smooth labour from 36th week. It all began with a very nervous dinner date some nearly seven years ago when I had to be honest to P and inform him that I had been dubbed “infertile”. I wanted to be upfront with him so that he knew exactly where he stood with me and my condition of severe endometriosis. Being a father/parent is extremely important to some and I wanted to let P know that if things worked out with us as a couple, it could be a very rocky road.
Lucky for me, P decided that being with someone that he truly had feelings for was something too strong to let the “infertile” status get in the way.
About 2 years ago, we decided that it was time that we seriously started trying to create a family, so we headed off to a specialist for a chat. In the meantime I had been doing a lot of research on the benefits of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in conjunction with IVF. I was determined to do all that I could to make this work, so in February 2008 I met the gorgeous Jenny for the first time. I instantly felt a peace and totally comfortable and knew that I had someone that I could trust to help me achieve my goal of becoming pregnant. Jenny discussed the importance of giving the process time which allowed her to concentrate firstly on cleansing my body then preparing it for IVF. As much as some of the tonics weren’t very palatable, and the food diet was difficult at times, I tried to do everything that Jenny advised and put all my faith in her.
In July 2008, we commence our first cycle of IVF. Much to our amazement we achieved the retrieval of 6 eggs of which 5 fertilised! (I must mention at this point that I had previously undergone three IVF attempts some years ago with very poor results). When our embryos were classed as high quality, I knew that Jenny had a big part to play in our success so far. We had one fresh embryo transferred back and went very close to achieving a pregnancy.
The next month we had two frozen embryos transferred with a wonderful result of one taking. During all of this I was visiting Jenny on a weekly basis for my Acupuncture session and her very experienced advice on supplements and diet.
We are now 36 weeks along and doing really well. I am still seeing Jenny weekly and look forward to every time I see her smiling face to catch her up on the progress of our baby and share any special stories.
Our dream is to have a second baby reasonably quickly and I will be sure to make contact with Jenny well in advance to prepare myself once again for IVF.
Jenny is our saving grace and we thank her with all our hearts. She is a wonderful person with huge passion for her work. This certainly shows in her care for her patients. We look forward to the day that we get to introduce our little miracle to her and as our child grows, I will show him/her pictures of this very special lady named Jenny that was a big part of bringing them into this world. The fertility journey can be a bumpy rollercoaster ride. We have had a fair share of ups and downs and were initially met with much negativity about our prospective IVF journey by various 'professionals' and told we shouldn't be doing this, taking that or even considering it as an option. I felt like I was in trouble and being judged by people who knew very little about our fertility journey. Not one method fits all and biologically IVF was our only option to start a family.
I am a firm believer that you meet people for a reason...and Jenny was our fertility angel. Her warm nature and calm guidance helped me find a path that was positive and centred on what I needed both physically and emotionally to endure the IVF treatments. Jenny explained matters that the doctors left confusing and reassured me that I was actually doing everything I possibly could to help our fertility chances. Her acupuncture treatments helped me cope with each stage of treatment.
After holding on tight for the IVF ride we have been blessed with a positive result... two times over. I am pregnant with twins, expecting in August. I feel this miracle was helped along by Jenny's hand and heart.

I started seeing Camilla when I was 4 weeks pregnant with my second child for nausea. A friend mentioned acupuncture may help and after being sick until 20 weeks with my first child I was willing to try anything. Wow, what a difference it made. I felt a lot better after a couple of treatments and had no more nausea after 9 weeks.
I also saw Camilla for a few weeks before the birth to prepare. My obstetrician wanted to induce me early so Camilla worked on helping everything happen naturally. Baby came 10 days early and the delivery was unassisted.

I came to EastWest fertility on a recommendation from a friend after 4 failed IVF cycles. My fertility specialist was pessimistic about my ability to produce good quality eggs and we were looking to use a donor egg.
Camilla put me at ease on my very first appointment. She asked many questions about how I was feeling and symptoms of my cycle. I felt it was the first time I was truly taking a holistic approach to my fertility.
Camilla recommended some dietary changes and vitamin supplements. These were realistic and easy to adapt into my everyday life. Throughout the cycle I had regular acupuncture sessions. It was great to be able to discuss the treatment and its effects on me and I finally felt like I had some control of my IVF cycle.
The eggs I produced gave us two embryos. I had both transferred and was ecstatic that I had finally been able to produce an embryo to transfer. One of the embryos implanted and I am now 10 weeks pregnant.

The journey of infertility is without a doubt a very difficult process. My previous experience with IVF was not a pleasant one. Apart from the fact that we had no success, IVF is a very clinical process. There was little or no focus on the emotional side and there is little time for warmth and understanding from the doctors and nursing staff.
This time around I decided to take on a more holistic approach and elected to prepare myself with regular acupuncture and Chinese herbs prior to commencing a new IVF cycle. Jenny not only assisted me with the treatment, but importantly provided advice and support in all areas. Her knowledge of the IVF process was excellent. I found that throughout the treatment I was far more relaxed and positive about the entire process. I can sincerely say that a lot of this can be attributed to Jenny in her kind, calm, caring and professional manner.
